Yes, it was a great episode. I'm looking forwards to the next section of the book to be seen on TV. Although I may be thinking farther ahead like book 4.

"Game of thrones is a lot like Twitter: There are 140 characters and terrible things are always happening."

New season looks to be fun, but the first ep was kind of boring as it was all setup for later payoffs.

Here's a good scene:

This season will be great, next season crap when they have to do all that political crap for like ever.

This first episode for this season slow as balls with lots of setup, kind of boring. Well at least compared to the end of season 1 so ya : P

This season is apparently set up as the first half of book 3. Prepare for the disappointment that things dont' progress fast enough... I don't blame them considering the clusterfuck of books 4 and 5 they have to deal with.

Also, in recent news, Season 3 Episode 1 of Game of Thrones is now the most pirated video of all time as of Sunday night.

Interesting....

This season is going to get hard for us all to watch, there is just so much going on and half of it will be dry and boring in comparison to others. Will we see the character progression we need to see?

I am cautiously optimistic that this will be another great season. Now to get that fat fuck George RR to finish the goddamn series before he dies from eating chilli cheese dogs for breakfast...

Sunday was my wife's birthday, about an hour before sitting down to watch the episode I warned her that maybe she shouldn't ruin the end of her day by watching Game of Thrones and we should do something else instead. Of course she wanted to watch it anyways. When the red wedding scene happened, there was a lot of her saying "No no no". My favorite part of the episode was Sandor Clegane "The Hound" scenes as always. Next weeks season finale should be good, I have high hopes for 45 minutes of Jon Snow.

Meh hardly a spoiler. Ten episode season with a bunch of plot points that need more closure than what we saw on Sunday. I just hope Jon's time on screen is as awesome as it should be.

Yep, just kind of worried they will do something like get to him at 40 mins in and leave a big OMG big/lots of story next season with him ender !

But more then likely it will be the attack on the crows at the castle toss in some white walkers or something : P.
